will give a lecture and talk shortly about their career paths.

After the talks we will organize a social with pizza and beer.

Abstract

After finishing your PhD, there are plenty of options on the table. After careful considerations, I decided to leave academia and try to find a research-oriented job in the tech industry. In this short talk, I will briefly discuss the reasons for my decision to leave academia and share some insights from working in three different German tech companies.

This is also interesting for master student who have to decide whether to do a PhD or go right away to free economy.

Guests are welcome!
