Laura Busse: Processing of Feedforward and Feedback Signals in Mouse dLGN

LMU München

The retino-geniculo-cortical pathway is the most direct route for visual information to reach cortex. In my  talk, will present new findings concerning the visual representations along this pathway: In the mouse, which retinal ganglion cells provide input to the dorsolateral geniculate nucleus (dLGN) of the thalamus, the “relay station” between the eye and the visual cortex? What are the rules of functional connectivity? How does corticothalamic feedback modulate geniculate responses?
