Master Program Computational Neuroscience ist wieder akkreditiert/ Master Program is re-accredited
Das Master Programm Computational Neuroscience des BCCN Berlin hat den Akkreditierungsprozess erfolgreich abgeschlossen und ist bis zum 28.6.2028 akkreditiert. Es sind keinerlei Auflagen damit verbunden.

The BCCN Berlin Master Program Computational Neuroscience has been re-accredited without any conditions until June 8, 2028.
ERC Starting Grant and BMBF funding for Fatma Deniz/ERC Starting Grant und BMBF Förderung für Fatma Deniz
Fatma Deniz was successful with her ERC Starting Grant proposal on the research project "Linguistic Tuning Shifts in the Human Brain during Second Language Learning" and will receive 1,5 million euros to conduct her research.
In addition, she was awarded a BMBF funding (3,3 million euros) for her project "Language representations in bilinguals" in cooperation with the University of California, Berkeley, and the TU Berlin. These funds cover a 3 Tesla MRI scanner including high-end peripherals for neurocognitive applications.
The highly prestigious ERC starting grant and the BMBF grant will fund Fatma Deniz's research for the next five years. The competition for an ERC starting grant is quite challenging. Only 16 % of the applicants succeeded. The funding is part of the EU Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.

Fatma Deniz wird für ihr Forschungsprojekt "Linguistic Tuning Shifts in the Human Brain during Second Language Learning" mit einem ERC Staring Grant im Wert von 1,5 Millionen Euro gefördert.
Zudem hat sie für ihr Forschungsprojekt "Language representations in bilinguals" 3,3 Millionen Euro vom BMBF eingeworben. Dieses Projekt wird in Kooperation mit der TU Berlin und der University of California in Berkeley durchgeführt und beinhaltet einen 3 Tesla MRT Scanner und High-End Peripherie-Geräte für neurokognitive Anwendungen.
Das äußerst renommierte ERC Starting Grant und die BMBF Förderung werden Fatma Denizs Forschung für die nächsten fünf Jahre finanzieren. Nur 16 % der Antragsteller*innen erhalten ein ERC Starting Grant, das Teil des EU-Rahmenprogramm für Forschung und Innovation Horizont 2020 ist.
