Helene Schmidt-Helmstaedter has been awarded with the Humboldt Preis for her PhD thesis "Large-scale circuit reconstruction in medial entorhinal cortex" in Michael Brecht's group.

The 7th Winter School "Ethics and Neuroscience is taking place on February 19 - 23, 2018. It is organized by the BCCN Berlin/ICCN and the Berlin School of Mind and Brain. The event is tailored for MSc and PhD students, but covers a range of topics of potential interest to other researchers, reflecting on the ethical and societal consequences of modern neuroscience.
